What we believe about working with AI
Four things we keep coming back to. They are the reason a programme like this exists at all.
Curiosity is part of the job
This field moves faster than any training cycle can. Staying current is not what we get around to once the real work is done — being current is the work, and it belongs to everybody here.
Build it rather than wait for it
The person who feels a process dragging is the person best placed to change it, and these tools are within everyone’s reach now. We would rather that person built something small this week than filed a request for it.
Efficiency is a form of respect
Time spent on work a system can carry is time taken from the work only people can do — the judgement, the relationships, the calls that need a human.
Nobody levels up alone
What one team works out gets written down and passed on, so the next team starts from further ahead instead of from the beginning.
How AI changes the work here
Not a slogan, and not a pilot project. It is the direction of travel, and it shows up in what we expect of each other day to day.

Working with the tools we are handed is the starting line. The people closest to a process are the ones who can see what should change about it — so they are the ones who build the change.

Repetition is what we hand to a system. Judgement, context, and knowing what right looks like when the answer is not obvious — that is what stays with people, and it is the whole point.
